Happy Publication Day to Leor Zmigrod whose first book The Ideological Brain is published today in the UK by Viking, and is out in North America from Holt on Tuesday. Leor put the finishing touches to her book during a residency in Paris, and here is the desk.

Leor was on BBCRadio Four’s ‘Start the Week’ on Monday 10 March, giving a brilliant summary of her book and research. She also spoke to Hugo Rifkind on Times Radio on Wednesday 19 March.

There are lots of festival appearances coming up, including the Hay Festival on 25 May at 10am.
